Mode Conversion Based on Genetic Algorithm for Mode Division Multiplexing Systems

Abstract

The phase mask optimized by the genetic algorithm loaded on the spatial light modulator for mode conversion is proposed. Simulation results demonstrate that modes are accurately excited with the correlation coefficient greater than 0.99.
